I go here almost everyday because I live and work in the area. Look, it is basic shopping center food. BUT, it is really good southern food. I like the breakfast, good, basic. Better than or close to waffle house. Not as heavy. The lunch is also pretty good southern food too. Try it out. Once again though, not fancy
Delicious home cooked meals! Had the beef tips and rice. 10 cash or 10.50 card prices for a plate of yummy hot fresh food! Stop in, grab your plate, have a great meal and leave stuffed!
I was in the area, so I searched for a breakfast spot nearby, and this place came up. Checked out the menu and headed that way. . When I walked in, I noticed that it was clean, with customers sitting quietly at tables waiting for their orders. The cashier, which I presume is the owner, was upbeat and friendly. I wasn't sure what I wanted because it was my first time there, but he was patient with me. I ultimately decided on a #3, which is a meat (I chose bacon), biscuit w/ gravy, and eggs. However, I decided to do the most, so I had them add double hashbrowns, extra eggs , extra gravy, and extra bacon and hold the shame!!! Lol Food came out hot and fresh in less than 7 minutes. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right, the hashbrowns weren't dry and actually better than Waffle House's, the gravy was seasoned just right and not extra salty like most spots! The biscuit was nice and soft with enough density not to give in to the gravy bath it was soaking in! I recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes a good ole traditional breakfast at a good price! I'm definitely putting them in my breakfast rotation! FYI: They have a health department score of 100!
Favorite lunch spot . Country style food. Made fresh daily. All meals include a drink. You won't miss with the baked chicken, meatloaf, or chicken pot pie. I believe their mashed potatoes are home made yum.
I'm a simple man. I see bacon and eggs, I eat. The menu is not the largest but it has the essentials. And it's fresh and delicious. The portion size is large, the bacon is thick and crispy, and the hash browns are the perfect blend of crispy and soft. This plate was less than 7! I will be coming here every morning while I'm in town for work. We need more of this in America.
Every time I'm in the Atlanta Duluth area is a must visit if you like good homestyle cooking. This is more of a local's place. Very good chicken.
